PHOTOS: People of all ages enjoy Wadsworth’s new community pool

The Wadsworth community pool on School Drive opened a few weeks ago and residents are flocking there to cool off. The pool includes a splash pad area, vortex — gentle whirlpool — leisure pool with zero-depth entry, and swimming pool with a diving board and drop slide.

The pool is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, including Friday, the Fourth of July holiday. Yearly memberships are available; discounts are available to members of the regional YMCA, Wadsworth

residents and senior citizens. Daily passes are available for $10 for adults and $8 for youths. For more information about the pool, visit www.akronymca.org/WadsworthOutdoorPool.aspx.
