MEDINA — The Interstate 271 ramp to Interstate 71 was closed for about an hour Monday afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned in the sweeping southbound curve.
Neither the truck driver nor a passenger was seriously injured in the crash, which happened about 3 p.m.
“Just cuts and scrapes,” according to a spokesman for the Medina post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash was blamed on excessive speed.
“The semi was going around the curve a little too fast, the load shifted and the tractor-trailer overturned,” he said.
The ramp was reopened about 4 p.m.
