Thomas J. Kuehn, 88, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Massillon. Tom was born March 24, 1926, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Keelan) Kuehn. He retired from a long career in sales at St. Regis Paper Company and enjoyed working later as a manager at Stop-N-Go. Tom was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Tom is survived by his loving children, Marcia Broaddus, Julie (Bob) Grady, Elizabeth Kuehn, and Thomas (Julie) Kuehn, Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Broaddus, Natalie and Patrick Grady, Zachary, Deanna and Joshua Kuehn; sister-in-law, Ella Kuehn; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mona Marie Kuehn to whom he was married 40 years; brothers, Richard, Robert and Joseph Kuehn; sisters, Kathleen Flatley and Dorothy Johnson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, 11 A.M., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Father Tony Sebja will be the Celebrant. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 6 until 8 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Private burial will be held at St. Francis Cemetery.
