Clifton E. Oskins, 65, of Valley City, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Cliff was born December 13, 1948 in Rossmore, West Virginia.
Cliff served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Air National Guard after 20 years. He retired as a fabricator from NASA Glenn Research Center after 30 years. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his family, Cliff enjoyed his memberships to the Vietnam Vets M.C. and his VFW Post 9340 out of Columbia Station.
Cliff will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 12 years, Lynn (nee Harrigal); his cherished children, Allyson Kostalnick (Patrick) of Avon and Robert Oskins of Columbus; his loving step-sons, Matt Oster (Nancy) of Lakewood and Scott Oster (Ashley Goodrich); his treasured grandchildren, Zachary Kostalnick and Emma Oster; his sister, Kay Lengyel (John) of Grafton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cliff was preceded in death by his step-father, Arthur Marsh; and his mother, Maxine Marsh (nee Howard).
Friends may call Monday, July 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH. A memorial service for Cliff will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial with Honors will follow at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
