Paula Ann Massie, 76, of Spencer, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Hospice of Medina County in Medina, from complications of cancer. She was born December 29, 1937 in Bellaire, Ohio, to Paul and Eleanor (Warner) Masters.
She graduated from Buckeye High School in 1957. Paula had worked as a Collectible Specialist for the Village Shops in New Carlisle, Indiana.
She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, gardening, crossword puzzles, billiards and was an avid bowler.
Surviving are her children, Pamela Rousch of St. Cloud, Florida, Patti (Jim) Calhoun of Massillon, Greg (Janet) Massie of Homerville, Tom Massie of Medina, Brian (Kelly) Massie of Spencer; grandchildren, Savannah Rousch, Shawn (Kathryn) Massie, John (Valerie) Massie, Nichole, Kayla, Kyle, Breanna, Courtney and Emily Massie, Mary (James) Lucas, Heather Pack (Lonnie Leininger), Amanda, Eleanor and Harlie Pack, Jim Pack, Jr., Natasha Calhoun; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Don) Mohler of Medina, Brenda (Jim) Hall of Shelbyville, Kentucky; brothers, Bill (Linda) Masters of Medina; Tom (Sara) Masters of Minneapolis, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James W. in 2013.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 1 P.M. at the Spencer First Baptist Church, 302 West Main St., Spencer. Pastor Jeff Mullett will officiate. Burial will follow at Mallet Creek Cemetery in York Twp. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 202 East Main St., Spencer, (330) 648-2180 and one hour prior to the service at the church.
