Bob served our country as a Machinist Mate, 2nd Class, in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an excavator for most of his adult life,
Bob had a big voice, but a warm heart, loved talking to people and telling stories, was quick with a joke, and served as a walking encyclopedia. Bob bred, showed, and tracked champion bloodhounds for 30 plus years, and was a longtime member of the Medina Kennel Club and Owner Handler Association, as well as several farm associations. He enjoyed trail-riding horses, participating in local fairs, and was a regular at the Medina County Farmer’s Market, where he was known as “Goatmilk Fudge Bob”.
He is survived by his siblings, Carol, John, Jr., and twin sister, Janice; his four children, Becky (Patrick Lutzko), Jody (Bill Toman), Jamie (Robert Brown), and Bobby (Melissa); his 15 grandchildren; his sweetheart, Janet Stohlman and many friends.
A memorial service and celebration will be held next June. Please contact Janet or Becky to receive more information.
