Marvin was an interventional radiology technologist at UH Parma Community Hospital. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing, and was an avid member of the Arbor Tree Society. In the late 60′s and 70′s he played bass guitar in a mixed race band called the Catalinas, setting a new trend for the times. Marvin will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and being “The world’s last nice guy.”
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn (Malovasic), to whom he was married 37 years; loving children, Nikita Foltz, Patrick (Sheri) Foltz and Sean Foltz; precious grandchildren, Alana, Michael, Braeton, Ayla and Collin Foltz; dear sisters, Barbara Wyatt, Marilyn (John) Burch, and Marge (Terry) Perkins. He will be greatly missed by his dogs and cats.
Services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, 1 P.M., at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Family will receive friends Saturday from 11 until 1 P.M., at the funeral home.
