Woodring-Bertemes_JaneJane Ann Woodring-Bertemes, 84, of Westfield Center, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her home, following a four year battle with ALS. She was born March 10, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, to the late John and Anna E. Jones Litten.

Jane was a 1948 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Baldwin Wallace College where she majored in music and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Jane taught flute, voice and piano lessons for many years and had operated Woodring Antiques. She also served as the secretary for Bertemes Painting for 15 years. Jane was an avid golfer and was a member of Westfield Country Club.

Surviving are her husband, Philip Bertemes; her two children, Debbie Lund and William John Woodring, both of Colerain, Ohio; three grandsons, Richard William Lund and Benjamin and Brandon Woodring; four stepchildren, P.J. Bertemes of Springfield and Will Bertemes, Josh Bertemes and Molly Zufra, all of Medina and 13 step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William B. Woodring in 1991 and her parents.

Services will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at 2:30 P.M., at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, where friends may call from 12 Noon until time of services. Burial will be in Westfield Center Cemetery.
