SALES & MARKETING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE FOR DIGITAL & TRADITIONAL MEDIA
WEOL (news, talk, sports) Radio, Lorain County’s premier radio station, is searching for a mid-level Multi-Media (radio-web) sales & marketing account executive. On-line / digital media sales experience is a huge plus.
Our ideal sales candidate lives in western Cuyahoga, Lorain or Medina county, has 1-3 years media-marketing-sales experience, knows the right questions to ask, and has the ability to listen and creatively problem-solve.
This is a unique opportunity for an aggressive and creative marketing-minded seller to expand their skills and income. A base, (plus commission) compensation model is offered to begin.
You’ll be able to work within a 4-station network throughout northeast Ohio. Plus, multiple websites, and two regional daily newspapers to create customized client ad solutions.
You must possess a strong work ethic and desire to earn an uncapped income. You’ll need excellent written, verbal and presentation skills as well as the ability to reach, persuade and motivate key decision makers in retail, manufacturing, and service industries.

CONTROLLER- Elyria
The Lorain County Printing & Publishing Company, a multi-site northeast Ohio media company, is seeking an experienced Controller. This candidate will manage the accounting department and provide information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management in making educated economic decisions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures adequate controls and procedures are in place and recommends/develops policies/procedures to improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Dissemination of financial management reports, financial statements, audits and budgets.
- Manages monthly and year-end closings and P&L reporting.
- Directs and manages all interactions with third-party CPA firm and audit process.
- Corporate and payroll tax compliance.
- Oversee the activities of cash control, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
- Serve as the Company liaison to our bank.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, governmental compliance reporting and banking working knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification desired.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of general and financial accounting experience.
- Radio, newspaper, online (multi-media) experience a plus.
- MAS 90 experience preferred

PRESSROOM -PRESS OPERATOR- ELYRIA
The Lorain County Printing & Publishing Company is seeking applicants for a full-time position in our Production Department, working four – 10 hour shifts from 7pm to 5am (including weekends). This individual must have at least 3 years working experience on offset printing press, and mechanically inclined. Four color process and folder experience a plus.
The major responsibilities for the candidate are Process and Spot Color Operator, Folder-Console Operator, Reelroom Operator, Black Unit Operator, Mechanical and basic press maintenance, Electrical maintenance. Potential candidates must be able to take direction, and be able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks.
High School diploma or equivalent and mechanical/electrical knowledge required. Potential candidates must be able to pass drug and background check.
Physical demands of this position include extensive standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
